AT THE 2008 INDIANA
BREWERS CUP
Indianapolis, IN (July 12, 2008) –
Brass Monkey Brewing Co. was awarded a gold and silver medal in the 2008 Indiana
Brewer’s Cup competition (Professional Division).
Owner and brew-master Andrew Lewis
received the gold medal in the Strong Ales category for his
Belligerent Barley-Wine and the silver medal in the IPA category for his
See No Evil IPA, second only to Three Floyd’s Dreadnaught.
This is Lewis’ first year entered as a pro-brewer in the Indiana Brewers Cup.
Lewis’ brewery, Brass Monkey Brewing Co., celebrated their grand opening in
Kokomo, Indiana this past May.
One & Done
To keep things interesting Brass Monkey
recently introduced their ONE & DONE line to keep up with those who thirst for
new and different beers. In addition to their 9 beers on tap Brass Monkey will
be creating and releasing only one batch of one unique recipe for beer
enthusiasts. When it's gone….it's gone! One & Done kicks it off with Roughshod
Red, a malty amber ale on tap now. July 17th, Brass Monkey taps their second One
& Done, Chupacabra, a Mango Peach Chipotle Wheat. Remember, when it's gone, you
can forget about it because Brass Monkey is not looking back!
